IoP - Physics in Perspective -at the University of Bradford

The 2015 Institute of Physics - Physics in Perspective - A Level event is on Friday 13 March 9.30-2.30 at the University of Bradford.

Aimed at sixth formers and college students, Physics in Perspective offers insights into many different aspects of modern physical science.

This one day event is a Northern spin out of the popular three day Physics in Perspective that takes place in London each year.

The speakers are all chosen for their ability to make physics come alive, to illustrate its impact on our lives and to explore its potential for shaping the future world with engineering and technology. Our exciting line up includes:

Prospecting for the Past – using science to find lost sites and landscapes

Dr Chris Gaffney,  Archaeological Science, University of Bradford

Stars in Your Eyes: What Astronomy has done for Eye Care

Dr Karen Hampson, Optometry & Vision Science, University of Bradford
