Funding for 0-5 year olds public health services announced

On 11 December, the Department of Health (DH) wrote to the Chief Executive of each local authority setting out the proposed financial allocations for the commissioning of 0-5 children's public health services.  More information here.

IPPR: Avoiding the same old mistakes: Lessons for reform of 14–19 education in England

Persistently high youth unemployment and changes in the labour market mean that the UK needs better, clearer school-to-work pathways for our young people, says a new report by IPPR. More information here.

Children looked after in England, including adoption

This release provides statistics on looked-after children at both national and local authority levels for the financial year 2013 to 2014. More information here.
