Join us to Celebrate the 1st Birthday of the City and Local History Library

The City Library and the Local History Library in Bradford will be celebrating their first birthday on Tuesday 9 December. We would like to invite classes to join us in the Local History Library for our WW1 events.

As part of the celebrations we have a schools' event with local historian Kathryn Hughes who will be giving the children a "lesson" in life and school for children during WW1. In addition to this the children will have a chance to have a go at our WW1 Commemoration Reading Rug, which to date 500 children have contributed towards making.
