Keeping Children Safe in Education: Safeguarding updates for education and early years settings
Updating participants with the major changes within recent legislation and best practice in education. Highlighting what practitioners must have regard to when carrying out their duties to safeguard and promote the welfare of children: Keeping Children Safe in Education (2018) Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018) Disqualification under Childcare Act (2018) Plus many more……. We are excited to announce that we will be partnering up with CPOMS who will be delivering sessions around CPOMS - consent and retention, data destruction, granular transfers and much more…. All sessions are designed to run consecutively allowing participants to attend updates from both Safeguarding Support and CPOMS. Excellent opportunity to refresh existing safeguarding knowledge around policy, procedures, mandatory training requirements and CPOMS systems, as well as network with other professionals and service providers. Includes reference to Paediatric First Aid and First Aid requirements for educational and early years settings by Gem Compliance Training.
