  • Day 2: 1 April 2020
  • Day 3: 17 June 2020
  • At Dixons City Academy Ripley Street, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD5 7RR

With an increasing focus on curriculum and knowledge, teachers and school leaders need to understand the principles behind long-term learning. Drawing on the latest research into memory and the science of learning, this course is designed to equip school leaders and teachers with the evidence based tools to tackle the challenging demands of a knowledge curriculum.

With lots of memory research focusing on older pupils, we look at the best evidence for primary school pupils and exemplify with case studies from teachers in Bradford putting the evidence into practice.

Over the course of three days, delegates will explore the best available evidence and reflect on its application in their own context. They will examine how best to design lessons, curricula and revision so that students remember.
