The council is funding 5 workshops with Haworth sculptor Craig Dyson at his Haworth workshop in December.
Mr Dyson has worked with many local schools over the past few years on a number of high profile sculpture projects, with excellent feedback.
Pupils will be working with various sculpture materials throughout the day and learning various practical skills, including design.
Following all 5 workshops Craig will use these ideas to create a permanent large-scale sculpture which will be displayed in front of the new Department of Children’s Services building in Bradford city centre.
This is a high profile project in which we would welcome pupil involvement.
Spaces are limited to 10 pupils and 2 staff members per school.
Dates available are:
Monday 8 December
The workshop will run at Craig’s workshop in Haworth from 10 am until 2 pm.
The workshops are open to Year 5 pupils and any secondary pupils who are studying art.
