The summer pause/ September start is also a good time to encourage all staff in school to view our short
webinar to support whole school awareness and understanding. Consistency of support and understanding is a significant protective factor for attendance which is one of the easiest to address.
We will also be offering a small number of schools an enhanced offer of
strategic support around attendance processes and intervention. This could include whole school training, a team around the school approach, support around setting up educational offers. The support offered will be agreed in collaboration with the
school to meet needs at a whole school level. If you are interested, please email
ebsa@bradford.gov.uk with the subject ‘ Interest in strategic support’ and include what your key goal of this support would be. We will be in touch with selected schools in the new year.
