Skills Bootcamps are short, non-accredited courses that are fully funded and designed to help individuals with upskilling, reskilling, and supporting unemployed adults to enter careers they may have not considered working in before.  A Skills Bootcamp not only builds valuable skills but also provides a pathway to a fast-tracked, accredited Level 2 course — accelerating learners journey toward a recognised qualification.

The course covers topics such as child and young person development, safeguarding, community, EDI, and schools as organisers.   This is a 10-x week course, that requires attendance of 6 x hours per day for 1 x day a week at our Skills for Work premises, First Floor, Britannia House, Bradford, BD1 1HX.  We have various start dates commencing in February 2026 (11th, 12th and 16th February 2026) and we welcome anyone interested joining this course.

The eligibility criteria for a fully funded place requires learners to be:

  • Aged 19 years or over
