EBSA Guidance Consultations

The Educational Psychology Team are able to offer EBSA Guidance Consultation slots as part of an assess plan do review process.

These will run fortnightly with an aim of helping schools use the EBSA guidance to support young people and their families when there are emotional barriers to school attendance. Schools should complete the usual Educational Psychology consent form and select ‘EBSA Guidance Consultation’ from Link EP drop down menu and complete section 4.

Criteria for access:

  • Concerns with regards to a young person’s attendance at school where there seems to be an underlying emotional barrier.
  • School have already gathered initial information (using the EBSA guidance or equivalent) and have implemented and reviewed a support plan, but there are on-going concerns.

NB : Please contact us if you have booked a session from 22 May 2025 onwards.  There has been a technical issue and the bookings have been cancelled.
