The Council wants to hear your views about its plans to save £60.6m next year that ill include Council Tax bills increasing by 4.99%

Bradford Council needs to save money. It is changing how it works to spend less and still give people good services. The goal is to be in a better financial position by 2030.

In 2024-25, the Council saved £46m. It plans to save another £44m in 2025-26. These savings came from working smarter and using resources better.

Next year, the Council wants to save £60.6m. In line with other councils, next year this will include raising Council Tax by 2.99% and the Social Care Precept by 2%. This will mean Council Tax bills will increase by 4.99%.  You can read more about these plans in a report on the Bradford Council website. The website also explains how the plans might affect different groups of people.

Some of the savings - £9.8m - are open for public feedback. This means you can share your views before final decisions are made. Other plans have already been consulted on.

Bradford Council’s Executive wants to hear from you.

Please send your feedback by 11:59pm on Tuesday, 16 December 2025.  Your views will help the Council decide what to do.
