Please remember the below key information for children accessing Working Parent Entitlement hours:
Codes must be checked prior to offering the place.
- Validity Start Date must be before 31/12/2025
- Validity End Date must be after 01/01/2026
If the validity end date is prior to the 01/01/2026 then the code is in the Grace Period. Grace Periods become active if parents fall out of eligibility or fail to reconfirm their code.
Please note, grace periods are for continuation of the funded hours at a provider, children cannot start the Working Parent Entitlement hours when in a grace period.
If parents have not yet received a code, they must acquire a code before 31st December. Please refer them to https://www.beststartinlife.gov.uk/
