Outline

We welcome staff working in schools who have responsibility for CME to join us for a webinar which will provide an introduction to Children Missing Education and practices in Bradford.

Description

Effective information sharing between parents, schools and local authorities is critical to ensuring that all children of compulsory school age are safe and receiving suitable education.

 

This course will cover a range of topics in relation to Children Missing Education covering legislation, statutory guidance and local policies and procedures: - Definition of CME, legislative framework including key grounds for removal from roll, new pupil and deletion returns, local policies and procedures in relation to making joint enquiries and referrals and how to contact us.


Please note: This session is not for discussing specific cases. Should support be required please email CME@bradford.gov.uk

 

Booking information

This course is held virtually over the internet using Microsoft Teams. Your device will need a microphone and ideally a camera. We will be sharing a PowerPoint which can be difficult to see on mobile phone devices.

 

You will not need to download Teams to your device but can use the browser as an alternative.
