Great rhymers make great readers, and the Bradford Libraries Rhyme Challenge is an excellent way for children and parents to take part in an informal learning opportunity whilst having lots of fun too.
To take the challenge children and parents/carers learn the five nursery rhymes in the pack; it is suitable for children aged 0-6 years. Each pack contains full instructions and enough resources for 30 families, including rhyme sheets and completion certificates. If you have more than 30 families, please ask for an extra pack. Order packs by emailing sarah.thornton@bradford.gov.uk We ask that you collate the parents feedback sheets inside the pack and forward to us before the end of April 2026. Parents and children who bring their completed Rhyme Challenge certificate into their local library can enter a prize draw to win individual prizes! During November we hold an Awards Ceremony for those organisations that have gone the extra mile – so don’t forget to self-nominate before the end of April 2026 (details of this are in the pack).
