The museums team are now in a position to offer a new learning offer to support the delivery of Romans schemes of learning. Including a brand new workshop, topic boxes and digital resources, get in touch to find out more.

The Learning Team can now offer a workshop focused on the enquiry, 'how did the Romans leave their mark on Bradford?' In this workshop, pupils look at aretefacts and evidence to consider how the Romans shaped the Bradford area and compare living in Roman Bradford, to living in Bradford today. As a trial workshop, we are pleased to offer this for free to the first three schools to book. Maximum capacity is 30 learners, but we also have an additional self led artistic activity - 'make a Roman mosaic of Bradford.' SEND groups are incredibly welcome.

This workshop will run at Cliffe Castle Museum, Bradford, Wednesday-Friday. For further information on pricing and availability contact the learning team on learning@bradford.gov.uk.

Alongside this, we also offer resources which can be used in schools, including topic boxes full of artefacts and activities for in the classroom, and an excellent digital learning offer.

If you'd like to enquire, or find out more about what we offer, contact the learning team to be added to our mailing list on learning@bradford.gov.uk.
