Step 2 is offering targeted support for girls who may be struggling with their mental health during this important stage of education.

  • Mentoring support – guidance and encouragement to build confidence

  • Drop-in group – a safe peer space at Bowling Park

Location: Bowling Park
Referral process: Please contact info@step2.org.uk to request a referral form.

This support can help young women manage exam stress, transitions, and everyday challenges while promoting resilience and wellbeing.

This can also be for 15 year old girls, if they are turning 16 within the next 6 months.

Who may benefit most:

  • Those experiencing stress or anxiety (e.g. around exams or transitions)

  • Young people struggling with low mood or confidence.

  • Students who would benefit from a safe space to talk.

  • Girls who may be socially isolated or finding friendships difficult.

  • Those who could use extra mentoring support alongside school provision.
