Do you know someone who is an Unpaid Carer* in need of support improving their Digital Skills? Carers can benefit from a new project aiming to support them to increase their skills and confidence in using IT.

*An unpaid carer is anyone who cares for someone who is ill, disabled, older, has mental health concerns or is experiencing addiction and is not paid by a company or local authority to do this (this does not include receiving carer’s allowance). Primarily, this is a family member or friend.

As daily activities from banking to booking health appointments increasingly rely on using digital platforms, it can be challenging for those who aren’t confident using technology. The Carers’ Resource Digital Inclusion project aims to support carers to improve their digital skills and knowledge through group, drop-in and one to one sessions.
Carers’ Resource is offering free, fun, informal Digital Inclusion sessions across the Bradford District.
