We have been operating in the Shipley, Windhill, Wrose, Idle, Thackley and Baildon areas since 2018, and expanded to central Bingley in 2024, however we have covered some Secondary schools beyond these areas since 2018 due to the pattern of attendance within
these areas. We are a FREE UNIVERSAL SERVICE, open to all families, with no cost to schools or services involved. We do accept donations from families towards items if they choose, however this is on a pay as you can afford cash basis only and many of our
families do not donate any monetary contributions. We also offer a confidential referral service via schools and other organisations, which again is a completely Free Universal Service with no criteria to meet or evidence required.
We are hosting this event as we initially had a lot of involvement with our schools & both statutory & voluntary services. However due to our rapid expansion and many changes, we would like to rebuild and strengthen these links to ensure as many schools,
services & families as possible are aware of and able to make use of our services.

In-Person Information Events “Monday 23rd June“ 2.30pm-3.30pm AND 4pm-5pm - Shipley Salvation Army, Rhodes Place, BD17 7DL. Up to 2 members of staff may attend. (There is no need to attend both times, it is a duplicate event
to accommodate for different staffing needs).
Teams Information Event “Thursday 26th June“ 10am-11am“ 1 member of staff may attend.
If there is enough interest, we may be able to repeat the Teams Information Events at a later date/time, please do let us know if you are not able to free any staff up to attend either the In-Person or Teams events but would be interested in this offer.
I am also able to make a separate appointment to drop into schools or other organisations to discuss our service if this would be easier for your staffing arrangements.
