The National Wraparound Childcare Programme is part of the childcare reforms introduced by the Government which aims to make wraparound childcare available to all primary school-aged children from 8am to 6pm, every school day during term time.

Our aim is to have information about wraparound childcare present on every primary school website across the Bradford district. We are in the process of developing a web-based wraparound childcare ‘finder’ tool, so every parent or carer will be able to search options in their local area themselves through the new online ‘finder.’

While this is developed, please continue to share information about wraparound childcare in your local area directly with families. You can find the childcare providers who offer this service for your school when you login into Bradford Schools Online and click on ‘maintenance tools’ and then ‘wraparound childcare.’

If you would like to discuss your wraparound childcare, e-mail: sufficiency@bradford.gov.uk
