Responding to Emotionally Based School Avoidance - Workshop and Hub Part or a series of monthly workshops and hubs.
We know that transition to secondary school can be a risk factor in terms of onset or escalation of emotional barriers to attendance. You will have the opportunity to consider how to identify vulnerable students and manage the transition process for these young people. The workshop will be followed by a 'hub', where you will be able to work in small groups supported by the Educational Psychology Team to problem-solve barriers in your setting and share good practice. 1pm - 2pm Transition Year 6 – 7 2pm - 3 pm: Group hubs By signing up to this workshop, you will automatically be added to a distribution list to receive updates on the EBSA project. Cancellation fees apply.
An administration fee of £32 will be charged for non-attendance and cancellation up to 5 days prior to the training course. Cancellation should be made by emailing EducationalPsychologyTeam@bradford.gov.uk or alternatively via your booking on the Skills4Bradford website. N.B. if cancelling via the Skills4Bradford website you must type in the reason for the cancellation prior to saving.
