Toothless films are a local filmmaking collective who have recently received funding from The Leap to host a multitude of filmmaking workshops for young people interested in the film industry aged from eleven to fifteen.

Toothless Films will be running four workshops in total; a cinematography workshop, an acting workshop, a scriptwriting workshop and a final, fourth workshop in which all the children from the first three workshops come together to create their own short film. The short film created in the fourth workshop will premiere at the Pictureville Cinema in the National Media Museum during our Toothless Films Showcase on the 15th of April 2025.

 

The workshops will be hosted in the city centre at the Checkpoint B.W.I.C.C.A Community Centre (BD1 2QU) and Common Space (BD1 3JT) and will begin at 4pm and conclude at 6pm.
