is continuing to visit local schools. This beautifully illustrated story about human impact on the environment provides an ideal opportunity for schools to link the message to their
Science or Environmental aspects of the curriculum. As a retired Language teacher, Deane has thought carefully about opportunities to develop
Literacy skills in activities related to the text.
Deane provides his time free of charge as a way of helping boost literacy skills and a
love of reading in Bradford schools. In return, he asks schools to purchase copies of his ebook and softback versions as well as facilitating sales to parents.
He is still available for World Book Day and Science Week.
