This is a free opportunity and we have just a few spaces left. Get in touch!
This may be through art, storytelling, nature activities, drama or music and The Linking Network will commission a creative practitioner to work alongside the young and older people. This is a full-funded opportunity.
The structure of the project is a commitment to five sessions, to be as follows:
- First session: creative practitioner working with children and older people separately in their own settings
- Intergenerational sessions: 3 sessions with older and younger people together led by the creative practitioner
- Final session: celebration
(All the sessions will be approximately one hour long.)
Dates for these sessions would be arranged between all partners but are likely to be between January 2025 – July 2025 but could be September 2025 – December 2025. The Linking Network will support at all stages.
The children can be any year group or a smaller group like a choir or the school council.
Perhaps children have connected with a local care home at Christmas and you’re looking for ways to deepen this. If you are interested taking part in this project, please let us know by email
as soon as possible as there are limited places.
