EBSA Workshop: Neurodivergence (9th January)

Research shows that young people who experience neuro-divergence are more at risk of emotionally based school avoidance. There are still places on our first workshop of the new year which will support you to develop an understanding of how neuro-divergence can impact school attendance and how you can help. Book your free place here: Skills 4 Bradford

Well-being support offer for Y7 students experiencing EBSA

We have a limited offer of individual intervention (6-8 weeks) for young people who are struggling to access other mental health support offers due to not being able to attend school. Due to the limited availability of this offer, we will be accepting referrals for young people in Year 7 initially. For more details please visit: Responding to emotionally-based school avoidance (EBSA) | Bradford Schools Online

Free Consultation Offer

We have had positive feedback from the first of our free consultations so want to encourage schools to access these.

Intervening early is key to preventing entrenched attendance barriers. To provide a timely response when schools have implemented the guidance or feel uncertain about how to respond, we are offering fortnightly consultations where school staff and parents can discuss concerns with a member of the Educational Psychology Team to help think about next steps.
