Emotionally Based School Avoidance Workshop - Placing pupil voice at the core
Don’t miss out! We still have places on our next workshop where we will be introducing techniques to gain pupil voice and exploring how to use this in a meaningful way. Research shows that a sense of agency and autonomy is really important for young people who experience emotional barriers to school attendance. This means that intervention needs to link with the views and aspirations of the young person to be effective.
Effective pupil voice work can be the missing piece in terms of moving a stuck situation forward. If you think you want to better understand how you can gather and use pupil views, then this workshop is for you!
7th Nov 1-3pm. Book here Responding to Emotionally Based School Avoidance - Workshop and hub | Skills 4 Bradford.
