The Art of Thinking: Critical Thinking for Reading & Writing Success
Dates: January 29th
Location: Woodlands Conference Suite, Steeton Primary School
Cost: £150 per delegate (£100 for a second delegate from the same school)

Course Description: The course focuses on fostering critical thinking skills and curiosity in the classroom. Participants will collaborate to plan units of work that encourage students to predict, infer, synthesise and engage
deeply with content. The day will be filled with practical strategies that teachers can apply immediately, all while collaborating on lesson planning and developing long-term units of work.

- Pedagogy: Learn the science of intrinsic motivators and critical thinking skills to improve engagement and attainment outcomes.
- Collaborative Planning: Teachers will design a unit focused on The Art of Thinking using activities like The Hook, The Magic Eraser, and 5-Word Forecast.
