Further to the briefing and consultation notes that have been published earlier this term, we have written two updated information and discussion documents.
one for mainstream primary and secondary formula funding and one for high needs formula funding, which explain the current position in regard to the development of 2025/26 mainstream primary and secondary and high needs formula / EHCP funding in Bradford, and which gives schools and academies the opportunity to comment, provide feedback and ask questions. These notes can be found here. We encourage all mainstream schools and academies to read these notes. These notes were presented to the Schools Forum on 4 December. The Authority will move forward towards asking the Schools Forum to make its final recommendations on formula funding matters for 2025/26 at the meeting scheduled for 15 January. If you have comments or feedback on either of the discussion documents, please submit these to andrew.redding@bradford.gov.uk by 10 January if possible (so that this feedback can be considered by the Schools Forum on 15 January). Please note that we still await details from the DfE on early years entitlement funding for 2025/26 and expect to publish a consultation on this early in the new year.
