The aims of all our educational resources are to educate our communities and make people more safety aware.
Our Fire Fighters visit schools in their station area to deliver our Home Safety talk to Upper Key Stage 2 pupils. Other talks on Bonfire Safety, Road Safety and Water Safety are available and will be booked in dependent on resource availability. All our
visits aim to enable the pupils to build relationships with the Fire Service, creating respect and trust, reducing attacks on fire fighters and other emergency services in our communities.
Additional resources are also available on Stay Wise: Stay Wise is a website led by the National Fire Chiefs Council.
Their free online library is packed full of educational resources and activities from the UK’s leading emergency services and safety-focused organisations making it easy to find trusted materials that provide learning opportunities to help keep children safe.
There are a wide range of resources available, each aimed at specific ages ranging from 3 -18 year olds, including puzzles, colouring sheets (for younger ones), PowerPoints, videos and interactive games.
All resources are free to use and download, you just need to sign up, which is also free.
