2025/26 mainstream primary anf secondary formula funding

The note explains the current position in regard to the development of 2025/26 mainstream primary and secondary formula funding and gives schools and academies the opportunity to begin to absorb this information and to comment and ask questions. This note has been written in the context of the delay in the announcement of the 2025/26 national school funding settlement and formula funding arrangements, meaning that the Authority's more detailed consultation (which we would normally begin mid-October) will also be delayed. We encourage all mainstream schools and academies to read this note.
