Led by a vivid cast of beautifully illustrated characters, children can read their way through 10 themed zones including space, animals, and imagination! There are five books to read to complete each zone.
When they sign up children receive their very own Secret Book Quest booklet, packed full of activities and puzzles, along with their first sticker. Collecting stickers as they go, they read 50 books to complete the challenge and decipher a secret code. Finishers
will also receive a certificate and a special prize!
Full details about the challenge can be found in the letter that can be downloaded below. Also available for download is an information sheet for parents and carers as well as promotional posters.
The challenge will be launching on Saturday 12th October, with events happening in libraries across the district. City library will also be joined by special guest storyteller and poet Conrad Burkedin, for storytelling, a scavenger hunt and creative
writing. Contact your local library for details.
We’re really excited about this new offer for children at Bradford Libraries and hope that you can help to promote the challenge with your pupils and families.
