I will be working exclusively within Leeds, Bradford and Sheffield to help unearth players who demonstrate talent and/or potential from a range of traditional and non-traditional football environments.
With this in mind, I am trying to connect with people across Bradford and to share my details with you all, to ensure that all girls who show potential talent have the opportunity to be seen. The reach you have within the communities and the rapport you
already have with participants is crucial and I’m hoping this will help us to unearth some future England players from the Bradford area.
So, my ask to you over the summer and moving forwards is that if you see any girls aged between 12-16 (any 11 years old that are super talented please feel free to let me know and I can make a note of them too, but they are slightly under the age bracket
I am working with) which you feel are talented in football or have potential, please get some basic details off the individuals for me to then follow up. I can't come out and look at all individuals, but I will hopefully attend schools events and tournaments
over the coming months so I will try to observe these players at alternative events.
Basic Information to get from talented individuals should include:
Full Name
DOB
School in Sept
Do they already play football and if so, where?
I am aware that talent looks different to everybody and for people who have not seen much football before, their idea of talent may be different to that of a football coach, but if you believe a player is talented by all means get a second opinion first,
but please don’t hesitate to contact me. We are working on very small percentages of players that will have this potential, but across activities in summer and schools activities moving forwards, hundreds if not thousands of girls will be engaged, so even
if 5-10 percent of them have an opportunity to be seen at a talent event it will be a success.
Bradford is going to be a focus area for me over the next 12 months and I will be looking to meet with sports providers, youth clubs and faith groups etc… in the coming months to get a feel for the communities, so hopefully I will cross paths with some of
you in the not so distant future. But in the meantime, please feel free to reach out to me if you have any future questions or would just like to introduce yourself and let me know about the activities you provide. My contact details are as follows:
