From September 2024, and over the next academic year, we’re aiming to work with 200 schools across the UK with our new
Clean Air Champions programme, supported by the Bupa Foundation –

Asthma and Lung UK will send everything you need to take part in the programme: diffusion tubes, fixtures, record sheets and even free return postage! All you’ll need to do is secure the air pollution monitors in outdoor locations and, after 4 weeks, return
them to us for analysis. While you’re monitoring, our learning resources will equip your pupils with knowledge on air quality and lung health. Once you receive your school’s monitoring results, these can be used to make changes in your community so everyone
can enjoy the right to breathe clean air with healthy lungs. Teachers can also join our online network of schools taking part in the programme for additional support and networking opportunities.
