Secondary School Students Difficult Conversations Workshop  

Thursday 26th September 9:30-12:30

Mercure Bankfield Hotel, Bingley

This is a free morning event for students from years 10-13 hosted by The Linking Network. The workshop is called Building the muscle for difficult conversations and includes training from Daniel Wehrenfennig.

Students will work with participants from other schools in the Bradford District and practice the skills needed to be able to have difficult conversations.

Daniel is an expert in dialogue, his work focuses on the ways to engage people with different views in constructive dialogue. He has extensive experience of working on peace building in different places across the world and his training is based on that experience. As a team at TLN we have attended the training with students and found it really valuable. Have a look at his TED talk here:

Each school can bring up to 6 students from years 10-13.

The event is free of charge to schools.
