We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
A fantastic opportunity to be involved in a fully funded project that the National Literacy Trust will be running over the next 3 years in Bradford. This exciting project focuses on the development of reading and writing as pupils move across a critical point of transition from Years 2 to 4.
We're inviting primary state schools in Bradford with over 22.5% of pupils receiving free school meals to benefit from this free programme of whole-class cultural visits and staff CPD.
Working with a group of pupils over 3 years as they progress from Year 2 to Year 4, we will research the impact of an innovative combination of evidence-based approaches on the pupils and their teachers.
Your school will receive:
- Staff CPD
- Cultural Visits
- Full Project Support
- Impact monitoring
- Celebration events
- Natinal Literacy Trust Membership
This fully funded project is worth approximately £15,000 over three years (£5000 per year)
