Detailed information specific to the diets of residents in Bradford District is non-existent, and there is limited research documenting dietary practices of first- and second-generation migrant populations in the UK. This has implications for local policy decision making which is based on several assumptions due to the use of national data. The novelty of this study is that we will generate local data that is relevant to the local population.  The Bradford Food Survey is a collaboration between Bradford District Council, ActEarly (Born in Bradford), University of York, and Queen Mary’s University London. The study aims to measure the diets of a representative group of children (aged 3-11) living in Bradford district.
