COUNSELLING IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Step2 offers counselling services in secondary schools

· 1:1 counselling with fully qualified counsellors

· All counsellors registered with a professional body and supported in clinical supervision at Step2

· All services supported by Step 2, ensuring high quality services  and good value for money

PLAY THERAPY AND COUNSELLING IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Step 2 offers play therapy and counselling in primary schools to help children:

· Regulate  their emotions

· Process past traumatic or troubling experiences

· Improve attendance and engagement in school

SUPPORT FOR STAFF

· Supervision for  Designated Safeguarding Leads

· Confidential counselling or emotional support for teaching and non – teaching staff

NB. Service level agreements for counselling and therapy services entitle schools to additional  services, free of charge 

· Parent groups - information and support for parents in confidential non-judgemental settings

· 1:1 counselling for parents

· Bespoke group work for CYP - e.g.online harms, pornography, healthy relationships, school transition and more.....
