We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
Recorded live at Bradford Cathedral on Tuesday 5th March 2024, here is a magical performance of Peter and the Wolf, the well-loved “symphonic fairy tale for children”.
Composed by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936, this classic piece was written to introduce children to the instruments of an orchestra.
The performance features story narration from Lady Sandra Hill with Bradford Cathedral Director of Music, Graham Thorpe, on the organ. Peter and the Wolf is the perfect introduction to classical music for children and is suitable for those aged 7 and above.
