Tickets are booking fast for the 2024 Bradford Literature Festival Education Programme!

Bradford Literature Festival is delighted to invite you to book your students' spaces on our 2024 Education Programme. Our events are popular and places are limited, so book now to avoid missing out on this year's exciting line-up.

From Monday 24 June to Friday 5 July, join us for eight Key Stage 2 and six Key Stage 3 & 4 events, tailored to the National Curriculum and with free teachers resource packs included.

All events are free for non-fee-paying schools to attend.

 

This year's Primary Education Programme events are:

  • Kashmir Uncovered (KS2 History and Art) - Monday 24 June
  • Amazing Inventions that Shaped the World (KS2 English, History & Science) - Wednesday 26 June
  • You Are Stardust (KS2 Science & PSHE) - Friday 28 June
  • Myths, Legends and Fairy Tales (KS2 Literacy & History) - Monday 1 July
  • Hieroglyphs and Ancient Egypt (KS2 History & Art) - Tuesday 2 July
  • Shakespeare Remixed (KS2 History, Drama, Literacy & Spoken Language) - Wednesday 3 July
  • Performance Poetry (KS2 Literacy & Spoken Language) - Thursday 4 July
  • Indus Valley Civilisation (KS2 History) - Friday 5 July

 

This year's Secondary Education Programme events are:

  • The Gothic (KS3 & 4 English Literature) - Friday 28 June
  • World War 1: Through Different Lenses (KS3 & 4 History) - Monday 1 July
  • Climate Change (KS3 & 4 Science, Citizenship & Literature) - Tuesday 2 July
  • Shaking Up Shakespeare (KS3 & 4 English, Drama & History) - Wednesday 3 July
  • Performance Poetry (KS3 & 4 English & Spoken Language) - Thursday 4 July
  • Stand Up and Be Counted (KS3 & 4 History, PSHE, Citizenship & English) - Friday 5 July
