It’s only a few weeks now until the start of our FREE ‘Learn to code with Code Club’ programme that will include online workshops to help build teachers’ confidence and knowledge to guide learners through fun and enriching learning experiences with Code Club.

It’s only a few weeks now until the start of our free ‘Learn to code with Code Club’ programme, which will begin on 29 February 2024. As well as engaging class codealongs, the programme will include online workshops that will build teachers’ confidence and knowledge to guide learners through fun and enriching learning experiences that support them to get creative with code, including supporting learners to participate in Coolest Projects UK, taking place in Bradford on 11 May 2024.

What will ‘Learn to code with Code Club’ involve?

  • The programme will run from 29 February to 2 May 2024

  • Teachers will take part in two initial online workshops, on 29 February and 7 March at 4pm GMT

  • Classes will participate in weekly prerecorded codealongs

What is Code Club? 

Code Club is a global network of free extracurricular coding clubs for young people. Using our free step-by-step project guides, learners create fun games, animations, and websites, while learning key programming concepts and building their coding skills. 

What is Coolest Projects UK? 

Coolest Projects UK is a free in-person event for digital tech creators up to age 18 taking place at the Life Centre in Bradford on Saturday 11 May 2024. 

  • All digital technology projects are welcome, whether they’re beginner, advanced, or something in between

  • Creators can enter their projects in one of six categories

  • Participants can enter individually or in teams of up to five
