Dragons' Den Activity for KS4 & KS5

Dragons' Den event for enthusiastic KS4 and KS5 young entrepreneurs, in partnership with The School of Management at the University of Bradford. Professor Paul Thorning and Dr Qun Shao from the School of Management are keen to engage with two secondary schools this academic year.  

 

The programme, for Year 10 to 13 learners, will focus on developing their entrepreneurship skills in a Dragons' Den style competition.  

The learners will complete the following sessions: 

  • March 2024 – Ideation Session at school with Professor Paul Thorning and Dr Qun Shao at The School of Management 

  • May 2024 – Pitching/ Business Plan Session at school with Professor Paul Thorning and Dr Qun Shao at The School of Management 

  • July 2024 – Dragons Den event at the University of Bradford – up to 10 students present their business ideas individually or in a group to a panel. 

 

Upon completion of the Dragons' Den challenge, learners will achieve a University of Bradford endorsed Cities of Learning digital badge which will recognise their achievements in the programme.
