The latest release of KCSIE has been updated reiterating the role of the DSL in leading Online Safety and specifically the expectations around filtering, monitoring and technical security.This overview of the free ‘Ofsted recognised’ Online Safety SWGfL tool aims to support DSLs in their role.

Safeguarding is a priority for all schools and ensuring your safeguarding provision includes appropriate Online Safety processes and practice is sometimes challenging.The latest release of KCSIE has been updated reiterating the role of the DSL in leading Online Safety within a school and specifically the expectations around filtering, monitoring and technical security.

To support DSLs the Curriculum Innovation Service are delivering a short overview session of the free ‘Ofsted recognised’ Online Safety Self-Review Tool from SWGfL available here

This free tool is the most comprehensive and effective way to ensure your Online Safety provision meets the requirements in the latest KCSIE publication.

In the session we will also explore the recent updates to the Online Safety Self-Review Tool in light of the latest KCSIE publication which will be relevant to new and existing users of the Online Safety Self-Review Tool.
