We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
The summer holidays are approaching and children will be spending more time outdoors. Now is a crucial time to remind pupils how to be safe near the road.
Below is a link to a road safety lesson plan including a short film. The film is usually shown to Year 3 pupils as an introduction to the Pedestrian Training Course we run in schools. It can be used now as a reminder of the skills taught during the course and to reinforce these important messages prior to the summer holidays.
