Network Meetings for the teaching of mathematics to Inspire and Inform Classroom Teachers

For the academic year 2023/2024

For the academic year 2023-2024, there will be a series of three half-day mathematics workshops for the teachers of EYFS and the Primary age range from across Bradford and beyond. It will provide them with the opportunity to network and support one another. Schools attending will have input into what we will discuss and the foci of what we consider. This will be complemented by messages, ideas and resources that the course leader will share with them.

• The meetings will take the form of three half-day sessions, spread across the academic year and there will be opportunities for maths moderation and understanding A.R.E.
• Every session for years 1 to 6 will include the course leader modelling teaching and learning techniques with children which is the most powerful form of CPD for teachers
• The total cost is £100 for the year’s support for each teacher (all three sessions)

Information needed includes which year groups are being booked for and for how many teachers from each year group and the names and email addresses of the teachers attending so that the course leader can create registers and contact delegates prior to session 1.
