Research Study - to find out what local BAME young people (and their parents) think about GCSE/vocational study options in Bradford

SkillsHouse CTE are working with the Bradford University to undertake a couple of different research studies that will enable us to better understand and learn from the voice of our young people while exploring themes around their experiences.

The following brief, has been determined to take place this summer, It is expected that the data gathering element of this research study will take place late June and July.

"The specific aim of this internship project will be to find out what local BAME young people (and their parents) think about GCSE/vocational study options in Bradford. An additional aim will be to explore whether young BAME people (and their parents) have experienced any cultural bias around their beliefs or views on career aspirations or subject choices."

Can you please email Alexandra.willans@bradford.gov.uk  if you can facilitate the researcher to undertake this research and I can link you directly to the director of studies at the Uni for further information.
