Warm Spaces become Welcoming Spaces

The council-funded Warm Spaces scheme has been renamed Welcoming Spaces for the summer. Please share this information with any of your families that may benefit from these community-based spaces that are free to all.

Welcoming Spaces are the summer version of the Warm Spaces that operated over winter. 

They're safe, friendly, local places where anyone can spend time for free.

There are more than 150 Welcoming Spaces across the district in places such as libraries, places of worship, community centres, sports clubs and cafes. 

They are places to enjoy a hot drink, make new friends and take part in activities and get advice. Many spaces also offer free wi-fi, a chance to charge devices and food.
