Time: - | Venue:

Pupils in Year 4, Year 9 and Year 10 are invited to submit their original poetry for a chance to be given the prestigious title of first-ever Young Poet Laureate for West Yorkshire. The chosen poet will become an ambassador for poetry in the region - could they be in your school?

Does your school have a budding poet brimming with inspiration?

In partnership with Tracy Brabin Mayor for West Yorkshire, we recently launched the search for the first ever young person to become poet laureate for the region (years 4, 9 and 10). This is a fantastic platform and opportunity for a young person to have an experience with other poets, gain valuable work experience and profile around their own poetry writing. We need your help to find the regional poet laureate from Bradford!
