Phase 2 LCSF launches in July 2021 and therefore BEIS are implementing a ring-fence of protected funding for schools that will open for applications made by schools in September.
This means the July 2021 application window will be open to all eligible public sector bodies, including schools, to make a bid from the portion of funding that has not been ring-fenced for schools. This sum is £11.5 million leaving the ring-fenced funding
for schools at £3.5m.
Please note the Phase 2 LCSF Application Portal opens on Wednesday 28th July and should the scheme become oversubscribed in July schools may re-apply for the scheme when the application window for schools opens in September.
All heat decarbonisation plans must be completed before March 31st 2022.
