The Admissions Team process the annual allocations to Reception and Y7, in year applications and also the appeals procedure.
We offer advice to parents and other agencies regarding all admission and appeal related enquiries.
We also provide advice and guidance to schools concerning current and new legislation relating to admissions and ensure that the statutory responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the School Admissions and School Appeals Code of Practice.

In Year Admissions
Parents are requested to apply online using
this link. This method is the quickest and means we can email your outcome, or you can log in to your account for an update when one is available.
If you don’t have an email address you can download the attached
application and return it to us in the post or by hand. Applications can take up to 15 school days to process from the date of receipt, please do not contact us prior to this deadline as if we have an update or outcome we will inform you as soon as possible.

Fair Access Protocol (FAP)
All Local Authorities are required to operate a Fair Access Protocol (FAP). The Protocol ensures that school places for maintained schools and academies are allocated and offered in an open and fair way. Outside the normal admissions round, unplaced children
(especially the most vulnerable), must be offered a place at a suitable school as quickly as possible.
