Strengthen and develop PSHE education in your school, as well as refine your broader whole-school approach to promoting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. This event is an opportunity to meet and learn from other PSHE Leads from across the district.

You are invited to this in-person training day, designed to support and enhance your use of the resources provided by the PSHE Association. It will also be a valuable opportunity to meet and network with other PSHE Leads from across the district and share good practice.

The training will:

  • Explore key components of effective leadership in PSHE education and the role of the PSHE lead in developing and supporting high-quality provision 
  • Explain the requirements of PSHE education (including the 2026 RSHE statutory guidance), and how to strengthen curriculum and delivery, and demonstrate impact 
  • Evaluate your existing PSHE programme, including approaches to monitoring impact and identifying priorities for improvement 
  • Plan practical next steps to strengthen and develop PSHE education in your school, as well as refine your broader whole-school approach to promoting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people
