The ONE HOUR session offers Governor specific information and guidance to assist their strategic role in terms of allergy safety in their school, in line with existing guidance of Medical Conditions in Schools and KCSIE.
This course will enable Governors to consider how the new guidance is implemented in their school, what concerns they may identify and how to gain assurance that these are addressed effectively by the systems and practices of their school. It will explore
the duties of the governing board in ensuring an allergy safety policy is in place in their school and that being confident that appropriate procedures are in place, along with training requirements.
