Participants will develop their skills of map and fieldwork as
we explore this beautiful map and city to gather and interpret
evidence about its past. In partnership with Historic England's
Heritage Schools programme, we will also use especially
created school resources to bring the map to life.
The day will also inform participants about other free
Bradford-focussed resources available to schools, to help teach
history and geography in the classroom and on field trips.
This free event is designed to contribute to attendees
continuing professional development. These resources and
copies of the map will be distributed to all attendees, to assist
with teaching local history and geography at KS2 level.
